Hank Bilous

Amidst the mountains of Wanaka, New Zealand, Hank Bilous grew up skiing every freeski discipline alongside his brother, Finn Bilous.

Competing in the World Heli Challenge, the Freeride World Qualifier Tour and hucking it off features around the world, like Corbert’s Couloir at Jackson Hole, and his namesake ‘Hank Time’ at The Remarkables, Queenstown, Hank has built a name for himself as a hard-charging Kiwi.

On the South Island of New Zealand he’s developed a fearless approach to skiing, that has earned him a place on the 2020 Freeride World Tour.

Hank aims to draw inspiration from surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding and music to push freeskiing in a new direction.

“The mountains are really my happy place. When I am in the mountains all my other cares and worries seem to not matter and I feel completely relaxed. What excites me most about skiing is that there are no rules. There's no right and wrong way to ski down a mountain, you just do what feels best for you.”
